The New York Yankees and the USO today announced that Yankee Stadium's Great Hall will again host over 250 volunteers to help assemble more than 5,000 USO Care Packages for active duty service members on Wednesday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m.

Yankees front office employees and veterans will be present to help prepare care packages in support of Holidays for Heroes. Among those that will be on hand to lend support to the cause include Yankees radio voice Suzyn Waldman, current YES Network broadcaster David Cone and volunteers from Delta, Disney, FedEx and MetLife.

The USO will distribute the packs to troops serving in remote units across the world during this holiday season. In addition, the New York Yankees Foundation will present the USO with a contribution in the amount of $25,000 in support of this effort.
