Gary Sanchez unveils custom Home Run Derby bat

Monday night's Home Run Derby officially kicks off All-Star Week 2017 in Miami, Fla., and a pair of youthful Yankees sluggers will be putting their power on display for baseball fans across the nation.

One of the many interesting features of the Derby this year is the inclusion of custom bat designs that the players will be able to use, and Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez is taking full advantage.

He and rookie sensation Aaron Judge - both of whom have combined to hit 43 homers this season - will be vying for the Derby crown Monday night at Marlins Park, but Sanchez may already be a step ahead with the phenomenal hardware he's planning to use.

Check out the photo below from Sanchez's Instagram profile to see the Kraken-themed bat he'll be using Monday night in his first-ever Home Run Derby appearance.
