The New York Yankees have placed outfielder Clint Frazier on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to August 9, with a left oblique strain, and reinstated outfielder Aaron Hicks from the 10-day DL.

Frazier was scratched from Wednesday's game in Toronto after feeling some tightness in his oblique. He was called up on July 1, and hit .243 with four home runs and 17 RBI in 28 major-league games prior to going on the DL.

Hicks has been on the disabled list since June 26 with a right oblique strain. He was hitting .290 with 10 home runs and 37 RBI in 60 games prior to the injury, and Wednesday concluded a rehab assignment where he hit .333 with one home run, three doubles, three RBI, and a stolen base in seven games between Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Double-A Trenton.
