Who will be the next New York Yankees manager? Las Vegas oddsmakers weigh in

When it comes to who might be the next manager of the New York Yankees, no suggestion is out of the question.

Las Vegas oddsmakers at Bovada, however, recently unveiled a list of the candidates who seem like potential options to fill the void left by Joe Girardi, who was informed Thursday that he would not be brought back to serve as Yankees skipper after a decade at the helm.

The best odds went to several familiar in-house candidates, however the list does include a number of surprising and unexpected picks.

Before his contract expired, Girardi led the Yankees to an MLB-best 910 wins from the moment he took over the reins in 2008 until his last regular season game in 2017. Within that span came six trips to the postseason, as well as a 27th World Series championship in 2009.

Check out the list below to see which baseball figures could find themselves on the Steinbrenners' short list to become the 33rd manager of the New York Yankees.

All odds subject to change, and provided by Bovada.
