Season 2 of Emmy-nominated 'Homegrown: The Path to Pinstripes' premieres May 8

Original series provides unprecedented access to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders

The YES Network will give New York Yankees fans an unparalleled look at the franchise's hottest prospects playing for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the New York Yankees' Triple-A team, when the second season of YES' Emmy-nominated original docu-series Homegrown: The Path to Pinstripes premieres on Tuesday, May 8, at 11:00 pm ET, immediately following YES' Red Sox-Yankees coverage.

Two new 30-minute episodes of Homegrown will premiere each month from May to September this season. Viewers will get unprecedented access to the Yankees' biggest prospects, those who are just one phone call away from Yankee Stadium.

Actually, last season, Homegrown viewers witnessed the moments when RailRiders players Jordan Montgomery and Clint Frazier received the news that they were being promoted to the big leagues.

The show will depict the on-field development and the lifestyles and personalities of the RailRiders. Homegrown will present the players, coaching staff and others on and off the field: in the clubhouse, the dugout, the front office, in their homes, on the road and elsewhere, fully capturing the minor league experience.
